Key Roles

I am excited to be involved in the English Language Arts program at Penhold Crossing. I currently teach English Language Arts from grades 9 to 12. I am passionate about developing critical analysis skills in students, to ensure they thoughtfully consider the material encountered in their daily lives. I am invested in nurturing creativity through a variety of outlets, which I work to develop in my English Language Arts and Art classes. Developing strong relationships with my students is important to me. Overall, I want my students to feel comfortable and welcome in my classroom.

I enjoy spending time outside and am an avid hiker. There is nothing more peaceful than being surrounded by mountains. Reaching the summit is a reward that truly captures the beauty of the world we live in.
