In September of 1994, we were the first independent Outreach School opened in Chinook's Edge to serve the needs of students who, for various reasons, felt that they could not meet with success in a traditional high school. In September, 2022 we were relocated to within Penhold Crossing Secondary School.
We offer all high school core subjects, several option courses, Work Experience and RAP, for students age 19 years, or younger, as of Sept 1 of the current academic school year. We have full time Career High Students, students blended with Penhold Crossing and Delburne schools, as well as students upgrading to meet post-secondary requirements.
We offer:
- Full-time or Part-time personalized learning plans
- Students can work at home or at school
- Teachers are available for help
- Academic Upgrading for those that have already graduated
Grades Taught 10-12
Penhold Career High is an Alternative High School for students grades 10-12, and grade 9 by Principal approval only. We follow a traditional Sept-June calendar.
