Amber Mackintosh

Hello, Everyone! First, thank you so much for taking the time to get to know a little more about me. I love being a teacher at Penhold Crossing. I grew up in Southern Alberta and after a few years of travel and exploring, I have found myself in Central Alberta. I completed five years at the University of Lethbridge in the Faculty of Education, with my combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees with a major in Mathematics.

In my spare time, I enjoy kicking back and relaxing by spending time with family and friends. I was diagnosed with Celiacs disease at 18 years old, and it inspired me to live a healthier and happier life. In my busy life, I like to find the time to get outside for any type of physical activity; yoga, swimming, walking, running, camping, bike riding,
playing volleyball, etc. I have welcomed two little fur balls into my life this year named Bruno and Tito.
