Ms. Mackenzie Greene

Hello everyone! I am looking forward to another great year at Penhold Crossing.

Some background on me, I spent my first two years teaching at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School in Red Deer. I taught primarily math and science and inclusive education. I received my education degree from the University of Calgary with a major in biology and minor in math. I also have an anthropology degree from the University of Calgary where I got to travel to Ghana, West Africa to study black and white colobus monkeys. 

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, skiing, skating, reading, and chilling with my 5 awesome pets. I have two cats named Kali and Goose, a rabbit named Danvers, and two guinea pigs that accompany me to my classroom, Jarvis and Korg. 

First semester of the 2023/2024 school year I will be teaching Chemistry 20 and 30, Science 14/24, and Art 9. Second semester I will be teaching Math 10-3 and 20-3, and Science 20.
