Ted Hutchings

I am thrilled to be joining the Penhold Crossing Team.

Over the course of my career, I have been a substitute teacher, teacher, team leader, department head, vice principal, and principal. I have worked for Elk Island Public Schools, Red Deer Public Schools, and Chinook's Edge. For the past 11 years, I have been principal of Delburne School and Innisfail Middle School. I am excited about entering the final phase of my career as a classroom teacher and academic counsellor. 

My wife, Lori, is a registered nurse. We have two sons. Connor is 24 and Jeff is 22. Connor is a paramedic and Jeff is entering his final year of Education at the University of Alberta. We recently added a new member to our family, a Labradoodle cross named Downie. When I am not at the school, you will probably find me in a hockey arena or in the great outdoors. We love camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and mountain biking.
